About Us

Mr. Ravindra Pandit (LTM) from VJTI Mumbai, renowned Technical Institute with leading faculty in Textiles, has worked in The Century Textiles & Industries Ltd. (Century Mills) Mumbai from 1969 t0 1973 and has collected detail textile knowledge. After seeing his eagerness to work with machines, the management had put him in maintenance department and he got an opportunity to study Textile machine thoroughly. Though he had started with maintenance of preparatory machines, the management entrusted to him maintenance of complete spinning departments from Blow Room to Ring Fame of almost 200000 spindles.

Based on this extensive knowledge and experience, he was then appointed by M/S. Exemplar Engineering Pvt. Ltd., Mumbai (DEECO- EXEMPLAR Group) him as Service Engineer in 1973 for All India basis. With his hard work and cordial relations with customers he rose to the post of Chief Executive and worked till 2014 (43 years). During this period the company has introduced many power efficient and productivity boosting equipment’s and machines for Spinning Industry to improve yarn quality which received wide acceptance in the Industry.

He has repeatedly visited over 2000 mills all over India and abroad and has developed a good rapport. He is a Patron Member of The Textile Association, India, member of ITTEMA and has also attended various Textile Seminars within India. He has attended many International ITMA exhibitions held in Paris, Germany, Italy (Milano) and also was a participant of Many INDIA –ITME exhibitions held in India.

He is now a Partner of Exemplar Enterprises since 2014 and has taken a responsibility to continue supply machines to Customer’s satisfaction.

Mr. Surendra Baste (DME, DIE) has worked in many Engineering Industries. After passing his Mechanical Engineering Diploma he joined BEST Undertaking Mumbai as trainee Engineer at Dadar Workshop in year 1972. He was given an assignment in Gear Box and Fuel Injection department.

Due to keen Interest in Design and manufacturing processes, he joined FERRODIE LTD. (Famous Tool Company) manufacturing dies, jigs & fixtures etc. as Tool Design Engineer. He designed various kinds of Press Tools (Progressive Dies, Compound Dies, Deep Draw Dies, and Press Brake Dies), Injection Moulds, Compression Moulds, Pressure Die Casting Dies, Gravity Die Casting Dies for companies like SIEMENS, L&T, Crompton Greaves, HAL and many other companies. He always updated his knowledge by going through books from British Council Library. He also gathered thorough knowledge in Heat Treatment and surface finish of Metals. He has keen interest in visiting existing customer to understand (eagarly) the needs of customer.

Based on his deep Knowledge and experience he was appointed in Exemplar Engineering Pvt. Ltd. with Technical collaboration with Nihon Spindle, Japan. Due to his hard work, result oriented developments, he was promoted as Works Manager and regularly visited Japan for study of Card Autolevellers, Chute fed Systems, Spindle Lubricating Machine etc.

Presently, he is a Partner in Exemplar Enterprises for developing scope of Lubricating machine with new latest concepts.
